Sarah Morgans

Sarah Morgans, co-author of POWER: How J.D. Power III Became the Auto Industry's Adviser, Confessor, and Eyewitness to History, has spent more than a decade documenting the history and culture of some of the country's most storied corporations, organizations, and individuals. She served as the editor of more than a dozen authorized histories, including those of Ford Motor Company, NASCAR, the Kentucky Derby, the New York Giants, Humana, Dover Corporation, and CBRE, as well as entrepreneurs Wayne Huizenga, Gerald Hines, and Gary Milgard.

Bill Thorness, co-author of POWER: How J.D. Power III Became the Auto Industry's Adviser, Confessor, and Eyewitness to History, is a Seattle-based writer and editor who has authored three books, contributed to many others, and writes regularly for the media. He reported for more than a decade in the business press before becoming a freelance writer. As an editor, he has worked with authors ranging from psychologists to teenagers to historians. Although he's more likely to commute by bicycle today, he can still tell you the engine displacement and stock modifications of his first car, a 1969 Grand Prix, which literally got him through high school.
